BUDGE, Albert (Junior)

Albert (Junior) Budge, age 84, passed away peacefully at his residence in Espanola on August 19, 2023. Junior is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Bessie) Budge (nee Fox), and their three children: Lori Budge from Toronto, Leslie Kozachanko (Tony) from Espanola, and Craig Budge (Tracy) from Ottawa. He was a cherished grandfather to Emily Kozachanko, Taylor Kozachanko-Moroz (Andrew) from Espanola, and Corinne and Dawson Budge from Ottawa. Junior also had the joy of being a great-grandfather to Miller and Remi Moroz. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert (Bert) and Margaret (Boulrice) Budge from Spanish/Espanola, along with his sister, Gail Campbell (Gordon) from Lively. Junior will be deeply missed by his siblings: Myrna Valley (Gerrard), Murray Budge (Diane), Kenneth Budge (Susan), all from Espanola, Marion Stasiuk (Nick) from Fonthill, and Carol Bois (Richard) from Lively. Junior had a special place in his heart for his numerous nieces and nephews. Known as a devoted family man, Junior epitomized love and compassion as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His absence will be profoundly felt by all, but most especially by his beloved wife and life partner of 62 years, Bessie. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation, held at the Bourcier Funeral Home on August 23, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place on August 24 at 10 a.m. at the United Church of Espanola, followed by interment at the Espanola Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bourcier Funeral Home Ltd., Espanola.
