Albert Golding

Albert “Bud” J. Golding passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 85. Known for his remarkable wit and dry sense of humor, Bud will be dearly missed. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and warmth that will forever be remembered. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Louise Golding, his children Mark Golding and Diane Genereux, his grandchildren Diedra, Amy, Kyla, Daniel, Mark, Jeffrey, and his great-grandchildren Lillie and Olivia. Bud is also survived by his brother Gary Golding and sister-in-law Sue Golding, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Gladys Golding, as well as his siblings Stella Potachuk, Audrey Labelle, and Lorne Golding.

In addition to his sense of humor, Bud had a deep passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening alongside his wife Louise at their cottage, even in his 80s. Bud was known for his caring and compassionate nature, always offering a helping hand or words of comfort to those in need. His contagious laughter and warm smile brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Bud’s legacy is one of enduring love, unwavering support, and countless cherished memories. He truly enriched the lives of those around him, and his memory will continue to bring warmth to their hearts.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Lady Minto for their exceptional care, and to the hospital for providing a hospice room that brought Bud a sense of peace and closeness to nature. In accordance with Bud’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Instead, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Lady Minto Hospice in support of their Hospice program.
