Alexander Miller, a resident of Chilliwack, B.C., passed away on July 3, 2023. Born to Robert and Selma Miller in Fox Valley SK, Alexander spent the entirety of his life in the Aldergrove region after his parents relocated there with him and his eight siblings. As a dedicated plumber, Alexander balanced his professional life with raising his children, cherishing moments spent playing cards with his loved ones and listening to his favorite music. Despite fighting cancer on three separate occasions, Alexander bravely faced his fourth battle until he ultimately succumbed to the illness.
Alexander is survived by his sister Lorraine (Leo) as well as his four children, Craig, Kevin (Jenny), Bart (Eliane), and Patricia (Paul). Additionally, he leaves behind ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who hold cherished memories of their time together. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Mary Miller for her unwavering love and support during this difficult time. While plans for a celebration of Alexander’s life are still being finalized, the family intends to hold a gathering at a later date to honor his memory.

Throughout his life, Alexander committed himself to his trade as a plumber while simultaneously making precious memories with his children. Card games and the soothing sounds of his favorite music filled his heart with joy. Alexander faced adversity with an unyielding spirit, courageously battling cancer not once, not twice, but three times. However, his resilience could not overcome the overwhelming challenges of his fourth encounter with the disease.
Alexander’s cherished legacy lives on through his sister Lorraine (Leo) and his loving children: Craig, Kevin (Jenny), Bart (Eliane), and Patricia (Paul). Surrounding him with love and fondness, Alexander’s ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews carry treasured recollections of their time together. The family would like to acknowledge Mary Miller for her unparalleled love and support, which brought comfort during these trying times. While immediate plans for a celebration of Alexander’s life are currently underway, the family aims to organize a meaningful gathering in the future as a tribute to his remarkable journey and enduring memory.
