Allan Beaumont

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of “Big Al” Beaumont on October 28, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Al was born in Lower Coverdale to his late parents, Clarence and Mae (Cormier) Beaumont. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Al is survived by his beloved wife Paula (née Rawding), his devoted daughters Tina and Sherry (Bryan), and his caring siblings Nancy (Bob), Sharon (Keith), Brenda (Bill), and Peterie. He is also survived by his brothers Jerome (Freda), Nelson (Dorothy), Gary, Brennan (Cindi), Gregory (Francine), Paul (Valerie), and Peter (Cathie). Additionally, Al leaves behind his cherished family friend Roger Surette, his grandchildren Aaron and Ryan (Heidi), and great-grandchildren Demetry and Anthony. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

During this difficult time, Al’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff of the coronary and palliative care units at The Moncton Hospital. Their exceptional care and support for both Al and Paula will always be remembered and appreciated.

A service to honor and remember Al’s life will be held at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (869-2007), on Thursday, November 2nd at 12pm. Pastor David Way will lead the occasion, and a reception will follow. For those who are unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed and recorded. In memory of Al, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Arthritis Society, or a charity of your choice. May Al’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those whose lives he touched.
