November 5, 2023

Tony passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023, at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband of 63 wonderful years to Deolinda and the cherished father of Maria Sequeira and Amelia Seixas. Tony was a proud Avo Tony to Lisa Lucier, Laura Belanger, Trevor Seixas, Nathan Sequeira, Tyler Seixas, and Avozinho to Ava, Ellie, Bo, Alex, Vera, and Jack. He was reunited with his parents Manuel and Maria, and is survived by his sister Rita from Portugal. However, he was predeceased by his siblings Jose, Joao, Teresa, Avelino, Rosa, and Maria. His passing is mourned by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members in Canada and Portugal.

Tony was known as a social butterfly and actively engaged with the Portuguese Club – Casa do Espirito Santo of Windsor. He found joy in being a member of Terceira Idade, where he formed lifelong bonds and friendships. But above all, Tony’s pride and joy were his family. There was nothing that brought him greater happiness than seeing his loved ones come together for meals or family gatherings. The mention of his grandchildren always lit up his eyes, and he embraced his role as a father and grandfather with all his heart.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel on November 8, 2023, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, with Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. The visitation will continue on November 9, 2023, from 10:00 am until the procession to St. Anne’s Church for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
