Arnold Rowland Graham

Arnold passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Regina, where he spent his entire life. Arnold dedicated many years of service to CP Rail and Saskpower before retiring as a steam engineer at the heating plant behind the Legislative Building. He met his beloved wife Phyllis while she was his nurse at the hospital, and they were happily married for 62 years. Together, they raised their three sons, Gary, Cory, and Gerald, who provided invaluable help and love. Arnold deeply cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was engaging in his woodwork hobby or engaging in his interests, such as reading about the World Wars, bike riding, aquasizing, and bowling. His sense of humor and love for laughter was a defining characteristic of Arnold, who will be greatly missed.

The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided to Arnold and the family by Dr. P. Van Rooyen, Dr. Alport, and the 3D staff at the Pasqua Hospital, as well as Grace Hospice, during such a challenging time of transition. A graveside service to honor Arnold’s memory will be held at a later date, with further details to be announced in a future edition of the Leader-Post. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Arnold’s name.

Condolences and messages of tribute can be shared online by visiting Arnold’s tribute page at http://www.speersfuneralchapel.com.
