Arthur KRUEGER

Arthur Krueger, a beloved resident of Parkhill, peacefully passed away at the age of 89 at Chartwell Long Term Care Home. He was formerly a resident of Grand Bend and Owen Sound. Arthur was born on November 19, 1933, in Lavesta, Alberta, to his parents Adolph and Sophia Krueger. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Evelyn Jeanne Krueger. Arthur will be fondly remembered by his children Charla Chilver, Warren and Marilyn Krueger, as well as his grandchildren Brittney, Sophia, James, Mikayla, Alex, Miranda, Dave, Owen, and his great-grandchild Robin. He also leaves behind his dear siblings and siblings-in-law Elsie Frank, Walter Krueger, Martha McMorran, Millie Desjardine, Rev. Stan and Pat Desjardine, and Fred and Marlene Desjardine.

Arthur dedicated his life to serving as the Pastor of the Owen Sound Church of God for 32 years and the Grand Bend Church of God for 9 years. He also served as the Area Minister for the Church of God in Eastern Canada for several years. Arthur was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Ernest Krueger, Margaret Krueger, Ann Giles, Reinhold Frank, Gladys Krueger, Earl McMorran, and Morley Desjardine.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the New Life Community Church in Grand Bend, where visitation will take place on September 1, 2023, from 1 to 2 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm. The officiant for the service will be Pastor Frank Struth. Interment will be held at the Grand Bend Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home in Dashwood. He also displayed great commitment as the Area Minister for the Church of God in Eastern Canada. Arthur’s passing deeply saddened his loved ones, as he was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Ernest Krueger, Margaret Krueger, Ann Giles, Reinhold Frank, Gladys Krueger, Earl McMorran, and Morley Desjardine.
