Audrey Helena Connors (Helen)

Audrey Helena (Helen) Connors, beloved wife of the late Michael Connors, passed away on September 3, 2023, at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, AB. She was born on October 4, 1942, in Halifax, NS, and later moved to Victoria, BC with her husband Mike and their three children in 1978. The family forged countless memories of delightful picnics on the beach and exhilarating adventures in nature during their time in Victoria. In 1980, Mike and Helen relocated to Calgary, AB, where they spent nine years before ultimately settling in the greater Edmonton area in 1989.

Helen is survived by her three sons: Terrance (Mary) Burningham of Georgetown, ON, Ross Burningham of Spruce Grove, AB, and Craig (Katherine) Burningham of Calgary, AB. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren, Zachary Craig (Jena Doucet) Burningham, Jeffrey Michael Burningham, and Jacob Stephen Michael Burningham, as well as a great-grandchild, Zoey Jane Burningham Doucet. Helen loved her sons, grandsons, and great-granddaughter wholeheartedly, and her absence will be deeply felt by all those who loved her.
