Austen Davey
Mr. Austen John Davey, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly in Edmonton, Alberta on October 23, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born in Dorset, England. Left to mourn his loss are his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Betty” (Toner), his children, John (Khanh) and Kim (Tony) Andruchow, as well as his granddaughters, Elle, Brooke, and Isabella. Austen is also survived by his sisters, Linda (Walter) Harnum and Judy (Burt) Klassen, along with many other relatives and friends. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his mother, Violet, and father, Maurice. Austen lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind cherished memories for all those who had the privilege of knowing him. The family will organize a Celebration of Life at a later date, and in lieu of flowers, they kindly request contributions to KidSport Edmonton, an organization close to Austen’s heart due to his avid interest in sports and support for young athletes.
