Barbara Busby

Barbara passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at the age of 91, surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered as the beloved wife of Robert Busby, who preceded her in death. Mark Busby, her loving son, and Donna, his wife, were fortunate to have Barbara as their caring mother. Tyler and Melanie Busby, Barbara’s grandchildren, held a special place in her heart. Sadly, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Winifred Clegg, as well as her brother Colin Clegg. However, her memories will continue to be cherished by her sister-in-law Pat Busby in England and her dear friend Doris Watts of London. Notably, Barbara had an unwavering affection for animals and took pleasure in spending time tending to her beautiful flower gardens.

In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, she has been cremated and will be laid to rest alongside her husband Robert in London. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their exceptional kindness and compassion towards Barbara during her stay. Those who wish to honor Barbara’s memory can make donations to either the London Humane Society or St. Joseph’s Hospice.
