Bernice Christie, formerly known as Bernice Charron, was born on December 26, 1938. She sadly lost her husband Ronald in 2003 and is survived by her two children, Susan and Daniel. On December 26, 2013, Susan married Ken, and together they had three grandsons named David, Brian, and Nicholas. Bernice was also a beloved sister-in-law to Jean Darkes, who sadly lost her husband Bob in 2001. Bernice leaves behind three nephews and several cousins who will deeply miss her presence.

Visitation for Bernice Christie will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd E., 519-253-7234. The visitation hours are 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A parish prayer will take place at 4:30 p.m. to honor Bernice’s memory. The funeral mass will be held the following day, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. After the Funeral Home service, the funeral procession will proceed to Our Lady of Guadalupe, located on Wyandotte St. Windsor, for another funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Bernice will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
