Beverly ROTH

Beverly Jean Roth, formerly known as Beverly Jean Halladay and Beverly Jean Patterson, peacefully passed away at Rosebridge Manor in Jasper on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the age of 85. She was born on October 27, 1938, in Delta, Ontario, as the youngest child of Noah and Mary Halladay. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Roth. Beverly will be lovingly remembered as the cherished mother of Jeffrey Patterson (Cheryl) from Franktown, Michael Patterson (Brenda) from Kingston, and the late Todd Patterson. She was also a proud grandmother to Allan Patterson, Danielle Boucher (Martin), Evelyn Patterson, and Krista Desjardins (Chuck). Furthermore, she took great joy in being a proud great-grandmother to Noah and Leo Boucher and Charles Michael Desjardins. Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers David Halladay (Joan), Basil Halladay (Shirley) and sisters Hilda Furzer (Ralph) and Phyllis Lamont (Norman). Throughout her life, Beverly served as a dedicated civilian member of the Westport Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. In accordance with her wishes, a private family graveside service will take place at Pinehill Cemetery in Delta, Ontario. Subsequently, a Celebration of Life will be held at Legion Branch 542 Westport on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. She took great pride in her role as a grandmother, with Allan Patterson, Danielle Boucher (Martin), Evelyn Patterson, and Krista Desjardins (Chuck) being her treasured grandchildren. Additionally, she found much joy in her great-grandchildren, Noah and Leo Boucher and Charles Michael Desjardins. Preceding her in death were her brothers David Halladay (Joan) and Basil Halladay (Shirley), as well as her sisters Hilda Furzer (Ralph) and Phyllis Lamont (Norman). Beverly dedicated a significant portion of her life to the Westport Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police as a civilian member. She will be deeply missed as the beloved mother of Jeffrey Patterson (Cheryl), residing in Franktown, and Michael Patterson (Brenda), residing in Kingston. Unfortunately, Todd Patterson, her other son, also predeceased her. Beverly leaves a lasting legacy through her four cherished grandchildren, Allan Patterson, Danielle Boucher (Martin), Evelyn Patterson, and Krista Desjardins (Chuck). Moreover, she found immense joy in being a great-grandmother, finding pride in Noah and Leo Boucher and Charles Michael Desjardins.
