Brenda JACKSON

Brenda Eileen Jackson, formerly known as Brenda Eileen Reid, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at the age of 59 in Portage la Prairie, MB. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her final moments. Brenda’s cherished memories will forever remain with her son Matthew Jackson, her siblings Beverly (Stephen) Graham and Brian (Tracey) Reid, as well as her niece, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sadly, Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Eileen Reid.

Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Brenda relocated to Portage la Prairie, MB, with her family in 1965. She was a compassionate and resilient woman who dedicated herself to raising her son. Brenda had a knack for photography, painting, and sewing, and she joyfully shared her talents and creations with her loved ones. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

A funeral service was held on September 29, 2023, at St. Mary’s la Prairie Anglican Church. The service was officiated by Rev. John Dolloff. Those who wish to make donations in Brenda’s memory are encouraged to contribute to St. Mary’s la Prairie Anglican Church.
