It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Brian was born in Virden, Manitoba and grew up in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. At the age of 14, Brian came to Regina and attended Sheldon-Williams High School. After graduation Brian studied at the University of Regina, worked for the Imperial Bank of Commerce and became a real estate professional. Brian sold real estate in Regina for over 35 years and was well known and respected for his honesty and integrity in the industry. Brian was a fixture in the Regina business community for decades. He owned and operated Campbell & Haliburton Insurance for over 50 years as well as many commercial and residential properties in Regina. Brian was a true salesman at heart and would strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone about just about anything. He loved people and people loved him. Brian was a generous and benevolent soul who volunteered and supported many charities for those in need. Holy Rosary Cathedral was particularly important to him. Helping others with an act of kindness was part of his daily life and made him truly happy. Brian was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, uncle and friend. Left to cherish his memory are his children Brenda (Dean) and Cheryl (John) and five amazing grandchildren Katie, Ella, Miya, Emma and Ava; his sister Heather and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brian was predeceased by his parents H.A. and Muriel; his wife of 54 years Dianne; son Brent and brother Ervyn. The Gibson family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who cared for Brian and for the love and support shown to his family over the years.
