Brian Stiles

Brian E. Stiles, a resident of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 76. Born and raised in Moncton, he was the beloved son of Ernest and Gertrude (Lewis) Stiles, both of whom have preceded him in death.

Having dedicated 33 years of his life to the T. Eaton Co., Brian retired from his position before joining other furniture companies such as Barnaby Furniture, Co-op Furniture, and Furniturama. Known for his unwavering support for the Toronto Blue Jays, he was an ardent fan and took pleasure in camping at Gagnon Beach, fishing, listening to music, and socializing with his friends. Above all, Brian cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Brian is survived by his son, Alvin Stiles, and his step-children, Mark LeBlanc (Christina), Danny LeBlanc (Marsha), and Bobby LeBlanc (Laura). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Ethan, Logan, Hannah, Addison, Zoey, and Sophia Mae. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Barbara Pickett (Bob), Betty Woodman (Ken), and Douglas Stiles (Mary), along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Sadly, Brian was predeceased by his first wife, Ann Stiles (nee Jones), his second wife, Donna Stiles (nee Lutes), and his brother, Lewis Stiles.

In accordance with Brian’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Instead, a private family interment is scheduled to take place at Fernwood Cemetery in Port Elgin. Fergusons Funeral Home, located at 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, is entrusted with the arrangements.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Brian’s honor to either the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Alternatively, online condolences can be shared on the Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or on their website at http://www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com.
