The remarkable free-spirit, Carole Grills-Lynch (aka CeeCee), passed on Nov 4th. A popular waitress at multiple restaurants in Belleville and the surrounding area she loved her work and was known and cherished by many. Preceded by Father, Clare Grills and Mother, Irene (nee Colby). Sisters to Heather and Cherri. Aunt to Josie, Hiliary, and Caedmon. Great Aunt to Claire, Luke, and Robbie. Niece to Margaret and Bill, Joan and Harold. She is survived by her son Adam, and son-in-law Jonathan, who were by her side when she passed, yet was called Mom by many-many others due to her loving nature and generosity of heart.

CeeCee traveled young. She loved country music, animals, and comedy: a sign in her kitchen proclaiming laughter as the shortest distance between two people. In honour of this incredible woman, attendees at her memorial (Nov. 26th) will be invited to sing Beautiful by Carole King, which reflected her deeply held belief that everyday is a good day to have a great day.

Our family would like to say thank you to the Canadian Cancer Society, Community Care South Hastings, Bayview Nursing and Hospice Quinte for all their excellent services and support.
