Carolyn Florence McClelland passed away peacefully at Renfrew Hospice on July 16, 2023, at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry McClelland and was previously married to the late James “Jimmy” Giroux. Carolyn was a loving mother to Jamie (Shannon) McClelland and Sean (Melanie) McClelland. She was also a caring grandmother to Peyton, Wyatt, Eli, Tennyson, Gillian, and Hilary. Carolyn was the dear sister of Gail Van Dresar and a special sister to Dale Moore (Jim), Sandra Fraser (Mike), Judy Lange (Mike), and Penny Green. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. Carolyn is predeceased by her sisters Theresa Boucher and Marie (the late Tom) Green, as well as her brothers Edward, Lawrence, Norman, Gerald, Wayne, and David Boucher, and special brother Tom Green. In accordance with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus in Pembroke on July 20, 2023, at 2 p.m. She was laid to rest at Beachburg Union Cemetery in Beachburg.
