Catharina OMAN

Catharina Rudolfina Oman (nee Oldeman) was born on May 27, 1936 in Hoogezand, Netherlands. On September 23, 2023, at the age of 87, our beloved Mom, Oma, Aunt, and Friend peacefully passed away. She will forever be in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Catharina was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Donald Oman, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Mies and Henk Sprokkreeff, stepson Reg Oman, and step-grandsons Randy Oman and Breck Piche’.

Catharina is survived by her daughter Joyce Felstead, son Ronald Theunisse (Kerry), stepchildren Donette Piche’, Rona Schwager, Rocky Oman (Tracy), Penny Henry (Ian), half-brothers Lucas Oldeman (Nicole), Christiaan Oldeman (Elzemieke), and their families. She is also survived by her grandchildren Luke Felstead (Vee-ann), Ashley Theunisse (Brian), and Dustin Theunisse (Amanda). Additionally, she leaves behind great-grandchildren Emma Theunisse and Alyssa Amyotte, as well as numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Catharina is also survived by her nephews Niels (Mona), Donald (Mitch and Lori), and niece Jolanda (Russell) Sprokkreeff.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Catharina will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. David’s United Church in Leduc, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Leduc Animal Shelter. May Catharina Rudolfina Oman rest in peace and be blessed by God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Oman, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Catharina also mourned the loss of her sister and brother-in-law, Mies and Henk Sprokkreeff, stepson Reg Oman, and step-grandsons Randy Oman and Breck Piche’.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughter Joyce Felstead, son Ronald Theunisse (Kerry), stepchildren Donette Piche’, Rona Schwager, Rocky Oman (Tracy), and Penny Henry (Ian). Catharina is also survived by her half-brothers Lucas Oldeman (Nicole) and Christiaan Oldeman (Elzemieke), along with their respective families. She leaves behind grandchildren Luke Felstead (Vee-ann), Ashley Theunisse (Brian), and Dustin Theunisse (Amanda), as well as great-grandchildren Emma Theunisse and Alyssa Amyotte. It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to Catharina, who now reunites with her husband of 34 years, Donald Oman, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Mies and Henk Sprokkreeff, stepson Reg Oman, and step-grandsons Randy Oman and Breck Piche’.

Catharina leaves behind cherished memories for her grandchildren Luke Felstead (Vee-ann), Ashley Theunisse (Brian), and Dustin Theunisse (Amanda). She also shared her love with great-grandchildren Emma Theunisse and Alyssa Amyotte, as well as numerous step-grand and great-grandchildren. Nieces Niels (Mona), Donald (Mitch and Lori), and niece Jolanda (Russell) Sprokkreeff also carry Catharina’s memory in their hearts.
