She was deeply cherished by her late husband Donald Kivell, and served as a loving mother to Travis Kivell and Vaniessa van Huisstede, residing in Massie. Catharine had a close bond with her siblings Karen and Brian Ebel of Owen Sound, Bill and Sandy Madill of Allenford, and Bryan and Gail Madill of Montreal. She will always be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Catharine is preceded in death by her parents Lorne and Emma Madill, her brother Dennis Madill, and her sister Marilyn Byers.
