Cecile Marie Kober

Cecile grew up in Lesser Slave Lake. Her Mom’s family, Kate Gagne (nee L’Hirondelle) dates back to Jacques L’Hirondelle, a voyageur working for HBC in 1759.

She met the love of her life, Art Kober, and they were married in 1949. Three daughters followed: Sandra, Susan and Diana.

Cecile was a good cook and even won prizes for her recipes. Art used to say, “you can make any cake you like as long as it is chocolate”. Cecile had a life long love affair with chocolate.

She will be greatly missed.
