She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron McKay, whom she shared 33 years of marriage with. Cheryl is also survived by her children, Sarah Nair (Rohith) and Michael McKay, as well as her siblings Chuck (Shirley), Lori, Wayne (Shari), Donna (Ron), and numerous nieces and nephews. The loss of Cheryl deeply impacts all those who have had the privilege of knowing her and those closest to her. In accordance with Cheryl’s wishes, there will not be a formal service. Instead of sending flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
