Claudio MAGGIONI

Claudio Maggioni, born in 1963, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2023, after bravely fighting brain cancer for the past two years. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments. Claudio is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Julie, and their children Jessica, Valerie, Marco, and Angelo. His mother, Rosetta Maggioni, and his in-laws, Lorenza and Angelo De Gasperis, also mourn his loss. Claudio’s sisters Julia and Nadia, along with their spouses, as well as his sister-in-law Nancy and her husband Peter, and his brother-in-law Tony and partner Janet, are deeply saddened by his passing. Additionally, Claudio leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Throughout his life, Claudio exemplified profound kindness and an unwavering devotion to his cherished family. His quiet strength and resilience in the face of challenges will forever be remembered. Claudio’s inner light radiated through his beautiful smile. Although his absence will be deeply felt, his legacy of love and cherished memories will endure. May Claudio Maggioni rest in eternal peace, and may God bless him.

A visitation will be held on September 29, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel, located at 8101 Weston Road. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on September 30, at 10 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Parish on 150 St. Francis Avenue. A private entombment will follow.
