Cleo Jerome Peebles

Cleophas “Cleo” Jerome Peebles, age 62, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023, in Detroit, Michigan, surrounded by his loving family. Throughout his life, Cleo devoted himself to caring for those he cherished, spreading his contagious sense of humor, and instilling in his children the values of kindness and compassion. He was an exceptional father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Left to cherish his memory are his son Cleo III, daughters Samora and Lili, mother Marion, sisters Lisa and Sharon, as well as his co-parent and former wife, Karen.

The impact of Cleo’s nurturing nature and genuine warmth reached far beyond his immediate family. He was a beacon of light in the lives of his loved ones, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
