Clifford Roy, aged 86, from Moncton, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023, at the Villa du Repos, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Moncton to Delphis and Madeleine (Gautreau) Roy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise (Bernard), with whom he shared a loving marriage of 59 years. Clifford is also survived by his three daughters: Monique Roy Lam (Jim) and Ginette Roy Melanson (Mario) both from Moncton, and Gisele Roy Melanson (Marc) from Dieppe. Additionally, he is survived by his three sisters, Anita Sirois (Paul-Émile), Lydia Green (Bill), and Rita Dollement, all from Moncton, and one brother, Raymond “Pete” (Mireille) from Moncton. Clifford leaves behind two sisters-in-law: Jeannette Roy from Kitchener, ON, and Delia Roy from Dieppe. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Manon, Dominique, Eric, Jacob, Nicholas, and Alex. Clifford had many nieces and nephews who mourn his loss. He was predeceased by four brothers: Lionel, George, Junior, and Gerald, as well as two infant siblings.
