Colleen MUSGROVE

Colleen Hazel Musgrove (nee Fitzpatrick), a loving and compassionate individual, passed away on August 16 in the presence of her family. She was a devoted wife and partner to Les for an incredible 49 years. Colleen was a proud mother to Sherry, Jimmy, and John, and a doting grandmother to Alysha, Nick, Hayley, Jay-Mark, James. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Layla, Elina, and Lain. Colleen was known for her kind-hearted nature and her dedication to helping others in the communities she called home. She had a special place in her heart for children, which led her to pursue a fulfilling career in child care. Additionally, she became the proprietor of The Village Take-Out in Cobden, Ontario, where she served the community for 14 years. During this difficult time, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services in Elliot Lake.

She dedicated herself to the service of others in the communities she considered home. Colleen had an unwavering love for children, and her career in child care allowed her to channel this passion. Later, she embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, owning and managing The Village Take-Out in Cobden, Ontario, for 14 years. In memory of Colleen, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, in place of sending flowers.
