Colleen Adelle Rea, aged 90, passed away on November 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was reunited with her beloved husband Kenneth, who passed away in 1985. Colleen was a cherished mother to Kenneth and Connie, and a proud grandmother and mim to Mel, Rea, Dennis, Mike, and “GG” to Jessica, Joshua, Jayden, and Aryanna. She was also a dear sister to Peter and the late Herbert, Marie, Julie, Larry, Joseph, Dephine, and Francis. Colleen will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team and Dr. Bergeron at Hospice of Windsor, nurses Hailey and Cierra, as well as Kory for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Downtown Mission or the Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Families First 2130 Front Rd. LaSalle. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s River Canard (9399 Townline Road). Cremation will follow.
