Daniel Middleton

Mr. Daniel James Middleton, a resident of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2023, at the age of 52. Born on May 7, 1971, in Sussex, New Brunswick, Daniel grew up in this small town. He pursued a career in the Trucking Industry, finding solace and joy in the freedom of driving on open roads, exploring the breathtaking sights of both the United States and Canada. Daniel had a deep appreciation for nature, often indulging in hiking and camping in the mountains with his loved ones. Additionally, he had a passion for fishing, hunting, and embarking on thrilling adventures with his beloved black Chevy.

Daniel will forever be cherished in the memories of his family and friends, including his wife, Folrilyn, his son, Jesse Middleton, his daughters, Samantha Middleton and Myranda Middleton, all of Victoria, as well as his stepson, Marc Caranguit, and stepdaughter, Milcah Caranguit, both residing in Red Deer. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Mason of Sussex, NB, his brother, Roger Middleton and his wife Leslie, residing in Ontario, and his second mother, Ann Wood of Cranbrook, BC. Numerous extended family members will also hold fond memories of Daniel.

Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Middleton, his father, Frank Middleton, his stepmother, Theresa (McLaughlin) Middleton, and his half brother, Tommy Lee Mason. To commemorate and honor Daniel’s life, a Celebration of Daniel’s life will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20, located at 66 Magnolia Ave, Sussex, NB E4E 2H2.
