Danniel WHALEN
Danniel Anthony Whalen was born in Stoco, ON, on November 16, 1937, to Mary (Ford) and Stafford Whalen. He peacefully passed away at the age of 85 at home in Kingston on November 2, 2023. He is survived by his daughters Theresa Whalen-Witjes (Bill) and Leisa, and his cherished grandchild Gavyn. He is also mourned by his partner Linda Scott, her children Scott Young (Jamie), Randy Loiselle (Judy), and their children Braden, Jenna, Hayley, Hunter, and Haven, his brother Glenn (Freda), and his sisters-in-law Joan and Bonnie, along with many nieces and nephews.
Described as a self-taught, self-made man, Danny was known for his perfectionism and his ability to excel at whatever he put his mind to. He was the proud owner of Whalen Building Service and was always ready to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever he was needed. Family was incredibly important to him, and he found true happiness while surrounded by loved ones and listening to classic country or Irish music. His family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Greg Scott for his exceptional care of Danny. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rushnell Funeral Homes, and a service will be held at St. Edmund’s Church on November 10, at 11 a.m.
Danniel Anthony Whalen, a devoted father, grandfather, partner, and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 85 on November 2, 2023. He was a hardworking and skilled man, known for his dedication and willingness to help others. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
