David Baker peacefully passed away at the Age Care Long Term Home on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the age of 78. He is survived by his son Barry Neatby, three grandchildren named Jayden, Keyana, and Cohen, his sister Wendy Magrath and her husband Doug, nieces Marissa, Allyson, and Azra, his brother Murray Baker and his wife Maria Isabel, and niece Alexa. He is also survived by his step-mother Loreen Baker. One of David’s greatest joys in life was spending time with his dogs, whom he would take on walks around the neighborhood. He was an avid sports fan and cherished watching his favorite Bears, Rangers, and Red Sox teams with friends. He also enjoyed activities such as playing darts and backyard baseball, listening to music, reading, watching old movies, and displaying his creativity through poetry. David’s dry wit and friendly nature will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
