David Henry Falk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Henry Falk on Friday, January 19th, 2024, just shy of his 88th birthday, in Langley, BC, surrounded by family. Born on March 14, 1936 in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, he was predeceased by his parents, Peter Falk and Helena Braun, and his brothers, Jack (Marie) and Peter (Agnes).

Survived by his wife of 65 Years, Laura Diane Falk, his daughter Julie (Don), son Michael Allan (Chantal), three grandchildren (Kimberly, Kevin, and Madeline), and several nieces and nephews.

David was a hard-working individual and applied himself to a career in sales which spanned many decades, taking him from coast to coast and into the United States. After his retirement, he was able to spend his time doing many of the things he loved the most: playing golf and spending time with his family and many friends.

David will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving Father, kind Grandfather, and loyal friend. His sense of humour and eagerness to debate will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gratitude is extended to the volunteers and caregivers at the Doug and Fran MacDonald Langley Hospice Residence who provided outstanding care and made both David and his loved ones feel comforted during his final days. In lieu of flowers, if you are willing and able, David’s family would like to ask for donations to be made to the Langley Hospice Society.

Details for David’s Celebration of Life with family and close friends will be announced at a later date.
