David SIM

David Angus Sim, a resident of St. Thomas, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the age of 81, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Moir) Sim and the loving father of Jennifer (Steve) and Viki (Mike). David was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren Addison and Olivia. He also leaves behind his dear siblings Ian, Evelyn, Norman, Elaine, and Cathie (Sim) Alexander. Additionally, he will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. David was born on December 17, 1941, in Inverness, Scotland, to his late parents David and Fiona (McLeod) Sim. Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver and held a license as a mechanic.

Honoring David’s wishes, a private cremation will take place. The arrangements are being handled by Williams Funeral Home, located at 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas.
