Deborah Thom, 63, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice on August 21, 2023, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Bill Thom, and their daughter, Alecia. Deborah’s father, Gary Ward, and her siblings, Tracy Moore, Suzanne Reilly, and Robert Ward, also survive her. Additionally, she is survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon and Brenda Thom, her brother-in-law Richard Thom (Desi), and her sister-in-law Ruth Thom. Deborah leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Joy Ward, and her brothers-in-law, David Moore and James Thom. Throughout her life, Deborah forged deep friendships during her 29-year tenure at Cooper Standard.

A visitation for Deborah will take place at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, located at 430 Huron St. Stratford, on Friday, August 25, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 26, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Stratford Perth Humane Society or Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the funeral home. Numerous nieces and nephews will cherish the memory of their aunt. Deborah’s mother, Joy Ward, and brothers-in-law David Moore and James Thom, predeceased her. Deborah formed lasting friendships during her 29-year career at Cooper Standard.
