Della LeBlanc

Della LeBlanc, a resident of Breau Creek, passed away at CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the age of 69. Born in Breau Creek on August 18, 1953, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Julienne (Richard) LeBlanc, both of whom have passed away. Della dedicated her professional life to working as a pastry cook at the Institut de Memramcook and was an active member of the Dames d’Acadie of Memramcook.

Della is survived by her loving husband, Alfred, and leaves behind a legacy of a close-knit family. She is mourned deeply by her two daughters, Julie LeBlanc (Stephane Methot) and Venessa LeBlanc (Ghislain-Miguel Theriault) of Memramcook, as well as her son, Yves LeBlanc (Wendy) of Memramcook. Della also cherished her six grandchildren, Noah, Josh, Teegan, Grace, Jessica, and Emma. She will be remembered fondly by her four sisters: Simonne (Roger) Poirier of Breau Creek, Eliza (Romeo) Cormier of Memramcook East, Ida (Victor) Leger, and Laurianne (Camille) LeBlanc, both of Breau Creek. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Louis (Judy) LeBlanc, of Breau Creek, and numerous nieces and nephews. Della was predeceased by her brother Amedee.

A visitation will be held in memory of Della at Dupuis Funeral Home in Memramcook on Friday, August 4, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be conducted at the St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 5, at 10:00 am. Della will be laid to rest in the cemetery of the parish. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dupuis Funeral Home in Memramcook.
