Donald Bourgeois

Donald Georges Bourgeois, 67, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. He was born in Dorchester Crossing (Scoudouc) and was the son of Rita (Vautour) Bourgeois and the late Siméon Bourgeois. Donald dedicated 49 years of his life working within the commercial and industrial insulation industry before his retirement.

Survived by his mother, Donald leaves behind his loving wife, Irma (LeBlanc), with whom he spent 43 years of marriage. He is also survived by his two sons, Mathieu (Rachel) and André (Véronique), and his seven granddaughters: Maryse, Emily, Maélie, Ally, Maïka, Charlie, and Mila. Additionally, he leaves behind four brothers: Jean-Paul (Martial), Roger (Carmella), Guy (late Gertrude), and Maurice (Louise), as well as one sister-in-law, Francine Bourgeois. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his father, one brother, Léo-Paul, and one nephew, Marc. He also mourned the loss of his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alyre and Généva LeBlanc.

The family will be receiving condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton, where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 15 at 2:30 pm. Visitation hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, as well as Tuesday from 1:30 pm until the time of the funeral. Donald will be laid to rest at Frenette Columbarium.
