Donald Gordon Cowie &nbsp(Don)

With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Don Cowie, beloved spouse of Sue Cowie (nee Boudreau), at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, August 31st, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of love as a proud father of Pam Morrison, Carissa Cowie, Megan Cowie, Mason Cowie, and Jessica Dainard, as well as a doting grandfather to 3 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father John and mother Betty Cowie, he will be greatly missed by his siblings Wayne Cowie (late Judy), Jean Horton (Sam), Gary Cowie, and his numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring his final wishes, Don’s remains have been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 12th at the Belleville Shrine Club, 160 Catherine Street, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The family has entrusted arrangements to Rushnell Funeral Homes Belleville. Those who wish to do so may make memorial donations to the charity of their choice in Don’s honor.
