Donna Anne Brown (nee Mullins) passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023 at the age of 86, surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with her husband Merton, who passed away in 2016. Donna was a loving and devoted mother to Sharon Brown and Vicki Marchant (Winton) and a cherished grandmother to Grace, Meg, Nathanael, Joshua, and Luke. Known as “Gigi”, she was also adored by her 6 great-grandchildren.
Donna will be remembered for her vibrant sense of humor, warm hospitality, selfless generosity, and remarkable card-playing skills. She played a pivotal role in keeping the extended family together and was known as the “fun aunt” by her numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Cure SMA Canada.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First located at 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor. On Friday, November 3, 2023, family and friends are invited to gather at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St., Windsor) starting from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.
