Doris Isabelle Hansen, beloved wife of the late Gunnar Hansen, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2023, in Strathroy at the age of 94. She is survived by her cherished sons, Paul (Charlene) and Gary (Shana), and will be greatly missed as the loved grandmother of Beth (Steve), Carly (Rich), Ryan, Chad, and Mitchel. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews in both Canada and Denmark. Born on May 10, 1929, in Brownsville, Isabelle was the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Fewster) Lainchbury. After spending the majority of her life in London, she raised her family in the Fairmont subdivision and later worked at London Transit. Isabelle led a serene and content life, finding enjoyment in bus trips, knitting, and watching golf and curling. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on October 4, 2023, from 12-1 p.m., with a service of remembrance following at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
