Doris Wilson

Doris Mae Wilson, 76, passed away on November 6, 2023, at the Hospice House in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She was born on August 3, 1947, in Kentville, Nova Scotia, to Francis and the late Mildred Leblanc. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, David Wilson, in June 1999, and her mother, Mildred Leblanc, in July 2023.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Moffitt, her three grandchildren, Lacey, Kayley, and Jacob, and her three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lainey, and Wyler, as well as her brothers, Terry, Reggie, and Bobby, and her sisters, Anne and Sherry. Doris will be remembered for her loving and nurturing personality, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories.

The family extends their gratitude to Doris’ sister-in-law, Diane Wilson, for her care, as well as her Extramural nurse, Vianne Hurley, and the staff at Hospice House Fredericton. A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held on November 12th, 2023, at the Oromocto Funeral Home, with interment at the Burton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospice House or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
