Doug Gullons, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, surrounded by his family at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. He was 70 years old at the time of his passing. Doug will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Cathy, and his incredible children Jean-Paul, Greg, Michelle Wallace, and Doug Jr. He will also be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Emma, Charly, Jorgia, Faith, Cole, Savannah, Natacha, Jack, Reilly, Devan, Clare, Brianne, Nowl, Lyla, Abigail, D.J., Calob, and his four great-granddaughters. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Keith, George, Ken, Reg, Pam, and Don, as well as his extended St. Croix family, nieces, and nephews.

Doug had a successful career as a businessman and was well-respected within the auto recycling industry. He was known for his expertise and was uniquely admired for maintaining soft hands despite owning an auto wrecker. Following his passing, Doug was cremated, and a private family service was held to honor his memory. He was laid to rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery in London. Doug Gullons will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his loving nature, generosity, and his unwavering commitment to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known him.
