Duncan FERGUSON
Duncan Ferguson, 88, passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on September 29, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments. Duncan was the devoted husband of the late Marilyn Ferguson (née Cornell) and the proud father of Mike, Steve (Evelyn), Andy (Jacqueline), and Kathryn. He was also a cherished grandpa to Jacqui, Kayla (Austin), Jessica, Amy, Kristina, Matthew, Patrick, and Adam. Additionally, Duncan was a loving great-grandfather to Charlotte, Noah, and Storm. He is remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the compassionate staff at Bridlewood Trails, Elisabeth Bruyere, and the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
A visitation for Duncan’s friends and family will take place on October 5, 2023, at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, located at 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road). The visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and will be followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will be held afterwards. For those who are unable to attend in person, a virtual participation option will be available through the provided link on the funeral home website.
