Eldon Eugene Blythe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, sibling, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 84. Born on August 9, 1938, Eldon spent his early years on the family farm near Regina. Throughout his career, Eldon worked as a dedicated laborer, primarily with the Department of Highways and later retiring from the Co-op Refinery. Known for his mechanical skills, Eldon had a knack for fixing anything and enjoyed working with his hands. He had a deep passion for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping, and gardening. Eldon also made significant contributions to his community, serving as a Boy Scouts leader and actively participating in church council and committees. He was a fun-loving individual and cherished his close friendships. Eldon’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Aspira Riverbend Crossing, as well as Dr. Hannah Buhariwalla and Nurse Taylar at General Hospital, for their exceptional care and support. Eldon’s journey came to an end on August 2, 2023, and a Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church in Regina on October 7, 2023.
