Elisa Lok (formerly known as Elisa Jarmana) passed away on October 17, 2023, at the hospice in Richmond BC at the age of [insert age]. She is survived by her husband, Gary, whom she considered her best friend, as well as her dedicated children, Bryson and Kassandra. Elisa is also mourned by her parents, Kenny and Satwant Jarmana, and her three sisters, Bonnie, Rita, and Krys, with Krys being married to Wayne and Bonnie having children named Ashley, Sheldon, and Cameron, along with their respective families.

Throughout her relatively short life, Elisa created an abundance of cherished memories. She was a devoted mother who unwaveringly supported her children in all of their endeavors. Elisa had a passion for softball and exhibited exceptional skill as a player. Starting her professional journey at a young age, she possessed a strong work ethic that led her to a fruitful 30-year career in the Financial Industry.

Beyond her commitment to her family and profession, Elisa’s involvement in minor hockey volunteered her precious time to assist with various organizational tasks such as managing her children’s teams and coordinating tournaments. Known for her caring and selfless nature, she always extended a helping hand to those in need. Elisa formed enduring friendships at every turn and left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Despite her prolonged battle with cancer, Elisa never allowed it to impede her zest for life. She bravely confronted any challenge that came her way and remained an unwavering force in everything she pursued. Her impact on people and experiences throughout her lifetime is immeasurable, and her absence will leave an undeniable void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

In order to honor Elisa’s memory, the family kindly requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
