Ella Kozak, formerly known as Ella Belon, gracefully entered this world on August 4, 1921, and peacefully departed in her slumber on September 26, 2023, at the remarkable age of 102 years. Her parents, John and Anne Belon (nee Feniak), preceded her in death, as did her beloved husband, John, brother Bill Belon, and sisters Mary Vaughn and Pauline Stanley. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nephews. Ella is fondly remembered by her devoted sons, Daniel from Regina, SK, and Douglas from Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Murial Belon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, close neighbors, and cherished friends. Ella’s passions encompassed culinary delights, tending to both flower and vegetable gardens, cheering on her favorite curling matches, and displaying prodigious talent in the art of crocheting and knitting.
