Eugene KELLY

Eugene Kelly, age 89, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee after a long battle with cancer. He will be forever remembered by his best friend and fiddle/dance partner, Vivian Mattice. Eugene was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernadette Kelly (Kennelly), in 2003. He is survived by his dear children Bernard (Lori) and Raymond (Lisa) of Enterprise, Patrick Kelly of Kingston, and Michael (Veronica) of Ottawa. Eugene was a loving grandfather to Ashleigh Kelly (Deirdre Kellerman), Jadea, Ryan, and Justin Kelly, Danielle Morgan (Josh), Nadine Kelly (Tyler), Thomas Kelly (Isabella Missel), and Matthew Kelly. He was also a cherished brother to Carmel Joyce (late John), Hubert Kelly (Patsy Forte), Joe Kelly (late Mary), and Frank Kelly (late Marg). Eugene is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends and neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth on Tuesday, August 1, from 3-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Annunciation in Enterprise on Wednesday, August 2, at 1:00 p.m. Following the interment at Annunciation Cemetery, a reception will be held in the Annunciation Church Hall. The family kindly requests that memorial donations in Eugene’s memory be made to the Annunciation Cemetery or the Cancer Society.
