Fanny Terzian was born in Cairo, Egypt, the daughter of Georges and Ebrax Terzian. In 1962, the Ahad family moved to Montreal, Canada. Fanny initially worked as a secretary before progressing into administrative roles. Fanny and Alphonse spent the majority of their married life in Montreal, residing first in a cozy apartment in Ahuntsic, and later in a fine home on the West Island. In 1984, they relocated to Mississauga, Ontario, where both Fanny and Alphonse continued working until their joint retirement in the early 1990s. Subsequently, in 1994, the couple returned to Montreal, settling in Ville St. Laurent where they savored over 25 joyful years together.
