Franklin Douglas Varga

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Frank Varga at the Palliative Care Unit at Emara Centre.
Loving Son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Varga. Dear brother of Dr Eugene Varga (Marg), the late Jim Nagy (the late Irene), and the late John Nagy.
Special uncle to Jennifer Varga (Bryan), Tom Varga (Sarah), Geoff Varga (Candy), Gloria Nagy (Dave), Randy Nagy (Diana), Elaine Nagy (Doug), Mike Nagy (Karen), and Ed Nagy (Katherine).
Great Uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Frank was born in Scotland, Ontario in 1943 and was raised on a farm in the Barrie area. He attended Barrie Collegiate and resided in Barrie and subsequently Oshawa where he worked for the Postal Service. In 1982 he moved to Windsor to be closer to family. Frank recently moved to the Devonshire Retirement Residence. Thank you to the staff and residents there who made him feel at home.
A special thank you to Dr Liang and staff on 8 West of Windsor Regional Ouellette Campus for their compassion and care. A special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Emara Centre where he spent his last days.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation, 3790 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to be made to the Downtown Mission in memory of Frank.
