Fredric (Fred) Luff peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, after a long illness. Throughout his life, Fred was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. As an Environmental Technologist during his career, he dedicated himself to his work. Even after retiring, Fred kept himself occupied by driving trucks and farming. Notably, he also held the position of President at the Waterford Horticultural Society, where he remained a loyal member. Another important aspect of Fred’s life was his involvement with the Christadelphian Manitoulin Bible camp. Over the course of many summers, he diligently studied the Bible and diligently maintained the camp. Fred’s presence was both valued and loved, especially at local Christadelphian events, where he delighted in serving strawberries and ice cream to the attendees. Fred was preceded in death by Gloria, his beloved wife of nearly four decades, who passed away at the age of 62. He is survived by his daughter, Nicki, from Waterford, ON, his son Jamie (Isabel), and his grandsons Micah and Nathan from Houston, Texas. Fred was one of four sons born to Ada and Gordon Luff. He is survived by his brothers Don (Miriam) from Brantford and Dave (Edith) from Burlington. He was also predeceased by his brother Norm (Jan) from Brantford. Additionally, Fred had numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 26th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brantford Christadelphian Hall, located at 442 Dunsdon St., Brantford. Everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Brantford Christadelphians as a meaningful gesture.

Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Gloria, who passed away at the age of 62. Surviving him are his daughter, Nicki, hailing from Waterford, ON, his son Jamie (Isabel), and grandsons Micah and Nathan, residing in Houston, Texas. Fred was one among four Luff boys, born to Ada and Gordon, and he leaves behind his surviving brothers, Don (Miriam) from Brantford and Dave (Edith) from Burlington. Sadly, his brother Norm (Jan) from Brantford preceded him in death. Additionally, Fred is survived by several nieces and nephews.
