Garry James Greenside

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Garry in Regina, after a brave and relatively brief fight against cancer. Garry was born and raised in Fleming, where he spent his youth working alongside his father at their family garage. Following his high school years, Garry dedicated several more years to the garage and bulk fuel business. Throughout his life, he held various jobs, eventually settling in Regina for the past few years. An avid sports enthusiast, Garry thoroughly enjoyed playing hockey and ball, with a special devotion to following the Blue Jays. We mourn Garry’s departure alongside the loss of his beloved wife Maureen in 2018, as well as his parents Jim and Marion, and sister-in-law Joy. Garry is survived by his sister Bev (Bob), brother Brian, and their families, as well as his nephews Curtis, Michael, CJ, and Devon. Maureen’s family, including Jay/Renae, Lisa/Troy, and Shane/Leanne, also feel the loss deeply. In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held at this time, but a future date will be set for the interment in the family plot at Fleming Cemetery.
