Gayle CLARKE

Gayle Clarke, formerly known as Gayle Parent (nee Renaud), passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023, just a few days before her 83rd birthday. She was a beloved wife to Ambrose for 32 years and a devoted mother to Kirby Parent (Laurie), Wayne (Dianna) Parent, Grant Parent (Cathleen), and Sheryl Parent (Tom). Gayle took great pride in her role as Mimi, doting on her six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is survived by her dear sister, Janet (the late Tommy) Kribs, and will be missed by her extended family and friends, especially Becky Benton.

Throughout her life, Gayle worked diligently for over two decades at A&P and Dominion Grocery. Her passion for shopping became a family tradition, as she instilled it in her loved ones. Gayle also had a deep love for gardening, nurturing beautiful plants and flowers. Additionally, she graciously hosted exquisite holiday meals for her family year after year. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff on the 5th floor at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus for their exceptional care. In honor of Gayle’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. As requested by Gayle, cremation has already taken place.
