Geneve FAUSAK
Geneve (Stadnyk) Fausak, born on April 17, 1958, touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. Sadly, on July 12, 2023, at the age of 65, Geneve succumbed to cancer, leaving a void in the hearts of her loved ones. Despite her valiant fight, this disease took her from us too soon.
Geneve will be remembered for her quick wit, compassionate nature, and her unique sense of humor. Her presence had the ability to light up a room, and her nieces and nephews adored her. Geneve showed unwavering support and assistance to those in need, without expecting anything in return.
Recently retired, Geneve left an indelible mark on her industry. Throughout her career, she made a significant impact in the field of disability, employing hundreds of individuals and providing care and support to countless people through her business, ICE. She seamlessly combined her caring nature with her business acumen, leaving behind a legacy of empathy and dedication.
Geneve cherished her 36-year marriage to her devoted husband, Henry. As the youngest of nine children, she held a special place in the hearts of her siblings, who lovingly referred to her as “Dove.” Geneve’s journey from a shy playmate to a successful businesswoman and caring supporter was nothing short of inspiring. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Geneve is survived by her husband, Henry, stepsons Doug and Daniel, and siblings Maureen, Mary-Belle, Valerie, Faye, and Floyd. She also leaves behind sister-in-law Evelyn and brothers-in-law Curtis and Al, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. In this next chapter of her existence, Geneve joins her loved ones who have passed before her, including siblings Helen, Fern, and John, stepson Mark, and both sets of parents.
A Memorial Service to honor Geneve’s life will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Park Memorial in Edmonton. Following the service, a private interment will take place.
